If you can, you should wear a face covering to protect others.

Leyburn Town Council are pleased to be able to offer the local community more free reusable face coverings!

Councillor Spenceley will be on the Market this Friday from 10.15 am giving away adult and child face coverings kindly made by the volunteers at the Colburn Scrub Hub.

These face coverings are recommended for use in the community and will offer more protection in enclosed spaces. Please note that face coverings are not the same as face masks. It is important that people do not use medical grade PPE masks to ensure these remain available for front-line staff. Face coverings do not replace social distancing but are used to help reduce the risk of transmission when social distancing is not always possible.

Remember a face covering is predominantly to protect others from being exposed to the virus, please continue to socially distance by 2 metres and wash your hands regularly to protect yourself.
