Leyburn Town Council is inviting suitably qualified and experienced contractors and suppliers to submit tenders for the following projects:
Tender 329 – Visit Leyburn Website
The design, development and improvement of the Visit Leyburn website, aimed at promoting Leyburn as a visitor destination and supporting the local tourism economy.
The project will include:
- Review and improvement of existing website content, structure and functionality
- Updated design and user experience suitable for visitors and residents
- Promotion of local attractions, events, heritage and businesses
- Ensuring the website is accessible, easy to maintain and fit for purpose
Tender 330 – Tourist Information and Heritage Hub (Kelberdale Terrace)
The repurposing of the former public conveniences at Kelberdale Terrace into a Tourist Information and Heritage Hub, enhancing visitor experience and creating community benefit.
The project comprises:
- Demolition and clearance works
- Structural alterations and remedial repairs
- Full internal fit‑out, including services
- Where feasible, the use of reclaimed stone and finishes appropriate to the existing structure
Tender 331 – Leyburn Shawl Accessible Path
The installation of an accessible grass‑reinforced pedestrian path on Leyburn Shawl, including wheelchair passing places, to improve accessibility while preserving the natural landscape.
