GOOD NEWS!     

Following the relaxation of restrictions Leyburn Community Library will start to reopen on Friday 10th July.

To begin with Leyburn Community Library is offering a “Select & Collect” service; customers will be able to use the ‘Select & Collect’ service to reserve books over the phone to be picked up by appointment only.

Commencing this Friday 10th July, customers will be able to call the Volunteers at Leyburn Library on 01609 535971 during the opening times below to request the kind of books they like.

A member of the library team will hand-pick a selection that meets the customer’s request, then contact the customer to arrange a convenient allocated time slot for them to collect the books from a pickup point located within Thornborough Hall near the Library entrance.

Library Select & Collect opening hours: 

Tuesday 10:00AM – 12:00 Noon, 2:00PM – 4:00PM

Friday 10:00AM -12 Noon

Saturday 10:00AM – 12 Noon

Books can also be returned to the library during opening hours.

The volunteers are eager to welcome people back and look forward to hearing from you all!
