Residents and visitors are advised that parking restrictions will be in place throughout Market Place and Commercial Square from this evening until 7.00pm tomorrow evening as part of the preparations for the Lloyds Tour of Britain Stage 4 finish in Leyburn.
To ensure the safe operation of the event and to allow for the installation of event infrastructure, all vehicles must be removed from the restricted areas before the restrictions come into force.
The restrictions apply to:
- The entire Market Place
- The Black Swan side of Market Place
- The area extending towards One Stop
- Commercial Square
- All parking bays and parking areas within the event footprint
We kindly ask residents, businesses and visitors to check that their vehicles have been moved to an alternative location during the restriction period.
Resident Access Passes
Residents who live on Market Place or directly off Market Place within the road closure area will require an Access Pass to get to their property through the road closure until 12.30pm on event day.
If you have not yet collected your pass, a representative from Leyburn Town Council will be available in the Market Place between 3.30pm and 6.00pm this evening to assist residents.
