Please note: This notice is for information only and is being shared on behalf of the Yorkshire Dales Rally organisers. This is not a Leyburn Town Council event, but we are helping to publicise the planned road closures so that residents and visitors are aware of the impact on local travel.

The Yorkshire Dales Rally will take place on Sunday 29 March 2026. This is a new closed‑road special stage rally running on roads to the west of Leyburn, operating under a Motor Sport UK Permit, Motor Race Order and Traffic Regulation Order. It will host a full entry of 100 competing cars, including local crews and visitors from across the UK.

The rally is based at Tennants Auction House with the official start taking place in Leyburn Market Square. Competitors will complete four closed‑road stages in the morning, returning to Leyburn for service, before repeating the same stages in the afternoon.
