North Yorkshire Council are inviting people to attend the community engagement event in Leyburn Market Place on Friday 26th April, 7am-4pm.
If you have been affected by flooding come along to speak to the Flood Risk Officers and JBA Consultant about Property Flood Resilience measures.
We are also looking for volunteers to join a Flood Action Group in Leyburn. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer to help to try and reduce the impact of future flood events, please contact the Town Council.
Training and advice will be given by North Yorkshire Council on Friday 26th April at 10.30 am in the Oak Room, Thornborough Hall for interested parties to learn how to use the flood kit in an emergency.
